Love Notes

This is such a wonderful and special idea.  This little pouch is from Pottery Barn, but could easily be made at home or something to that effect.  This was intended as a Valentine's pouch, but these ladies from Blonde Designs had an even better idea.  Rather than just putting a note in just on February 14, why not do it everyday.  It doesn't have to be complicated, just a nice word or even picture to put a smile on your child's face in the morning.  What a fantastic way to remind our kids everyday just how much we love them and also a reminder as parents, that even when those kids drive us crazy - we still love them!!

To make this pouch all you need is some felt.
Cut two pieces of felt into equal lengths in the size you want your pouch to be.  Sew sides and bottom together leaving a 1.5 to 2 inch border.  Cute the border with decorative scissors to make a nice edge.  Now you have your pouch.  To make the flap measure a piece of felt the same size as the pouch, and cut two sides up to form a triangle.  Sew this to the back of the pouch cut around the sides with decorative scissors to make a nice edge.  You can add a felt heart to the center or whatever you choose to decorate it with.
Sample of notes you can print out to make it even easier.  All it takes is a few minutes each night to make you child feel special all day long!
