Edible Ladybugs

I made this tasty treat with my kiddos and they absolutely LOVED it!!  They ate the whole thing also, not just the chocolate chips:)

Here is the recipe.  We did not use the licorice and we used red seedless grapes for the head instead of the blueberries.  Either one with work just fine.  Aren't they adorable?!

How to Make One Ladybug:
  1. Wash a strawberry and remove the stem and leaves.
  2. For the ladybug’s head, push a toothpick into the top of a strawberry, leaving about half an inch sticking out. Press a blueberry onto the toothpick.
  3. For the ladybug’s spots, push the pointed ends of some mini chocolate-chips into the strawberry.
  4. For the legs, push six small pieces of licorice into the strawberry, as shown.
